Imants Paeglītis – currently a member of the Riga Water Council and Chairman of the Latvian Lotto Council, formerly Chairman of the Board of Riga East Clinical University Hospital – is a guest of the Audita Akademija studio.
The transition from Chairman to Member of the Supervisory Board has allowed Imants to see corporate governance from different perspectives and to better understand the role of the internal audit function.
We will hear Imants’ experiences and thoughts on the challenges he and his team faced in implementing the internal audit function and what the biggest benefits have been. Also what value internal audit has brought, looking at it from the position of the Management Board and the Supervisory Board.
